Well I'm back from my one week vacation to North Carolina.
I had a good time, went to Kitty Hawk, saw the Wright Brothers (I am so tempted to call them Bros.

) Memorial, and saw the Atlantic Ocean, well... More stayed near the ocean, since that was where the condo was. Yes, we stayed in a condo, we paid for it. Though I think it was cheap-ish one.
The place was fun. No phone jack though, though we were given an emergency number and the house's number, and the first chair I sat in broke on me. (It was already broken. I don't break chairs just by sitting in them), a TV with a VCR (we're going 80's here people

) that was stuck on channel 13, basically a talk show channel with weather, and with the occasional good movie on later at night.
The place was a little rickety, and no internet. But you know what, it was fun, and a nice little place. Place shook when one night we had strong winds, but that was ok. And besides, we went out during the day, so hardly noticed it.
Also so The Lost Colony of Roanoke (how we found the lost colony to see it, we dunno

). There we so the Queen Elizabeth I Ship, the crew were friendly, and spoke in an English accent which made it a little more fun since I am half English though I cannot speak a drop of the accent.
Then went to the Blacksmiths', where he showed us how they would make things back then. I got to try my hand at an old fashioned lath I think it's called, and a game called 'Skittles'. Skittles is basically like bowling, but you toss a smaller ball at pins set up in a circle and the goal is to knock them all down or the center pin down. So yeah.
Also went to the Elizabethan Gardens, which were pretty.
Well, I think that's about all for now, did a lot more, though right now my mind is jumbled, so can't think of them right now...
So I think I'll wrap things up.
Oh, Happy
belated Easter!
